nice blog....btw i read your profile ..where you have mentioned you like romantics movie ...with the theme of unrequited love ...
Unrequited love is one genre that appeals to me the most..dunn know why...

seems nice to kind someone..with similar taste..

What are your favorite movies in this genre..

for me it's Before sunset and before sunrise and wong kar wai movies..

* I was googling for the review of the book if god was a banker..and landed up in your blog...

Hi,

Before Sunrise and Before Sunset are my favorites too. Other unrequited love stories I like are - Gone with the Wind, Love Atually, Closer and Breaking & Entering.

The maximum number of people arrive on my blog when they look up 'If God was a Banker' :)

yeah it comes third in the list of search..so...

Watch "In the mood for Love" and "lost in translation".

I prefer casablanca as compared to gone with the wind ...
Haven't seen Breaking and entering yet...

You are quite regular....in blogging..dun't see many working and married ppl updating there blogs so regularly..:)
keep writing...

Tried to watch breaking and entering..seems too serious heavy kind of movie..

It does have Juliette Binoche in it ..i like her a lot..seen a few movies of her
Dan in real life, damage,Three Colors: Blue..she is awesome..

Btw ..u'r rss feed doesn't seem to work..don't u have live bookmarks..how do i subscribe to your blog...

hiy..
No replies....
U seem quite disciplined...do you login to your blog everyday at the same time...

Vee said...

@Anon: Yes, I like La Binoche too .. very charming. I haven't tried adding RSS feed yet. Will try some time soon

@Cactus: Are you the same person as the 'anonymous' above? It's not about discipline but getting free from the day's chores around the same time. Sometimes I don't check my blog for days too

Yeah same person...
Well the atom feed should work automatically....like i have this comment page rss feed in my feeder.

..Though you are in the IT sector..Why don't you write about IT stuff much...like has the IT sector started recovering from the recession ..Banks seems to recover..give some insider perspective ...Btw how do you know oriya and bengali were based in bbsr infy...

Vee said...

I don't write about my work much .. I prefer to keep this blog personal. I have learnt these languages in the company of people from these states.

cactus said...

ok...Actually i saw your profile in orkut and linkedin..there it was written you know oriya..and then after reading a few posts...
i think i made a grave mistake assuming you to be married and that too with 3 kids(they way u have put those kids pics anyone would think so..:))...if i am right..i am really really sorry...
nowadays its so hard to make out from appearance who is married and how many kids someone has...everyone is so figure conscious..
anyways ..it was really stupid of me..sorry eh...
well your blog is personal..but the way you write ..it is so fact based reporting style..most blogs have a mood..yours is an exception.that's why even the software that guesses blog gender (was there in your post) is also confused. :)

Vee said...

Hmmm, interesting how you could look me up on orkut and linkedin because I have been only using my pen name on the blog :). Anyway, the 3 kids whose pictures I have put - are my nephews.

cactus said...

your blog link is http://vineetagupta.blogspot.com/.
:)..koi kaise apka naam miss kar sakta hai....(well lots of vineeta gupta in the world) and then you have the same pic in both the profiles of linkedin and orkut..why dunt u put the pic with adi in u'r profile..you look so much better in it..
waise...why didn't u tell me earlier that they were your nephews..when i assumed you to be..

Vee said...

Yeah, I didn't think of changing the link of my blog, it sure is a dead give-away :). And yes, there are lots of vineeta guptas in the world!

U didn’t answer me all the questions I asked. Hope you are fine, I was worried, 4 days no replies, kahi kuch ho to nahi gaya, I was waiting…..
I hate those bloggers who don’t care for their readers, who don’t care to reply to their comments. They are no different from the customer service we get in India (u have a post on that). Because a person who comments has taken the time to read your thoughts, and has tried to acknowledge your writings by giving comments. I hope you not one of them..the indifferent , rude , uncaring type.
Yeah quite a giveaway. And you do have lots of info about you outside. Just by googling your name,I have a neat picture of the kind of person you are…I can identify with you that’s the reason I read whatever you write..not because of the way you write…:D….Well, you can’t except someone who has been made of read endless amount of SRS, functional Specs, test cases , MOM’s for last 10 years to write like an pro.:)
I think it’s will be impossible to find someone like you (Female+10 odd yrs working in a sector like IT +Indian) who blogs so regularly.

I agree that bloggers should be responsible - not just about responding to readers' comments, but also about the contents of their blog. But at the same time, they also have a life outside the blogging world and there can be days when they can't access their blog, don't you agree? I think there would be many bloggers with similar profile as mine who blog much more than I do :)

No questions about it....Blogger do have a life outside:)...You do have quite a fun filled one..shaadi's..trips..et al..nice...

Maybe others are there..you are the only one I found...

Soory for being so demanding about the comments..I hate waiting...:)

feeling guilty for spamming your comment section...seems like a month long chat session..

already 15 messages tas a lot will end it here....
